6.6. Netflix Nähty toki useita kertoja, viime näkemästä tovi. Ei ainakaan tällä vuosikymmenellä. Kyllä tämä edelleen toimii täysillä, varmaan parasta satiiria Godardin Viikonlopun ohella. Irvokkaan humoristinen ylinäyttely ja liki kuvottavan realistinen sekä loputtomalta tuntuva väkivalta ovat yhdistelmänä niin äärimmäisen provosoivaa, että huomasin jo pyöriväni kiusaantuneena sohvalla. Oon vissiin tullut vanhaksi. Kaikkihan on tästä muuten jo sanottu, myös omasta toimestani joskus.

24.4. Netflix Nyt vähän harmittaa, etten käynyt katsomassa isolta kankaalta. Päällekäyvä, äärimaskuliininen hypertoiminta olisi varmasti ollut vieläkin huikeampi kokemus teatterissa. Koko elokuva on käytännössä yhtäjaksoista, hengästyttävää, upeasti suunniteltua toimintakohtausta. Maailman tilaa ei pohtia ehdi. Tänä päivänä hyvä niin, sillä riski muuttua viherpropagandaksi on turhan suuri.

11.4. Yle Areena Jälleen äärimmäisen hieno lapsuuskuvaus mykistävän Ana Torrentin kautta. Selvää sukulaissieluisuutta Mehiläispesän hengen kanssa, mutta siinä, missä tuo oli samaa magiikka, kuin Tarkovski ja Malick, kulkee Korppi sylissä bergmanilaisen kylmiä ja synkkiä lohduttomuuden polkuja.

4.4. Yle Areena No nyt! Tämä on sitä eniten rakastamaani elokuvallista ilmaisua. Selittämättömän maagista, niin kaunista ja mukaansa vievää kuvastoa, että hetkeksi unohtaa katsovansa elokuvaa. Näennäisesti juuri mitään ei tapahdu, mutta samalla jokaisessa kuvassa on kaikki, mikä on elämässä tärkeää tai merkityksellistä. Sama pätee näyttelijöihin, jotka eivät turhia puhele, mutta kasvoilta näkyy kaikki, ihan kaikki. Verisen sisällissodan päättyminen, tämän kokeminen lapsen silmin sekä riemukas Francon aikakausi ovat luonnollisesti tarinan ytimessä, mutta en koe tämän tiedon juuri vaikuttavan elokuvan universaaliin teeman elämän yksinkertaisesta kauneudesta lapsuuden viattomuuden läpi. Yksinäinenkin lapsi näkee elämänsä aina valoisana mielikuvituksensa avulla. Ei näin kauniita elokuvia ole kovinkaan monta.
